Dear Families,

Welcome to 2nd grade! I am so excited to be working with you this year. We are going to have fun and learn tons! Please use this blog as a resource for the year – it will serve as my weekly newsletter. I will update it once a week, typically on Fridays. The first day of school is in the books! The kids were delightful and seemed to enjoy the day with a different teacher than last year.  Be patient with me as I learn your kids, and they learn me. Some days will be better than others as we dive into our rigorous, but engaging curriculums plus procedures and routines! If ever your child comes home unhappy, for whatever reason, please let me know, so that I can better understand what they need.  🙂

The Second Grade Picnic was a lot of fun. The weather was terrific, and I felt like everyone had a good time. Thank you to all the families who attended this annual event.:-) It was great to hang out with our new kids and families.
